21 Day Fast – Getting Started
Fasting is not something that has historically been a regular practice of mine. However, both through Bible reading as well as a spiritual draw to the subject, I have decided to give it more attention.
In the process I have discovered a certain kind of fast that virtually anyone can participate in. The reason why, is that it’s a “partial” fast over a longer period of time. That means you still get to eat! But what you eat (or more specifically, what you don’t) is the key. You eat only the most healthy foods (mainly fruits, vegetables, and nuts/grains). During the 21-day fast, you give extra attention to prayer for a few specific areas of need, as well as for more insight or understanding of God’s will.
Here are the websites to help you get started.
